This town you've created with your bare hands
you've knocked down
because you couldn't stand
on your own two feet
You're the victum
We know, We got the memo
the way your actions affect others;
that you don't see
Conclustions can be jumpped to
And assumptions can be made
And I am supposed to want
to be around you
I'm the bad guy
And that's okay with me
Because I don't care how others see me
Because I know I did nothing wrong
My beliefs, Morals and values
Have been put in place for a reason
I will not yeild
I will not faulter
Is this war?
Maybe
but only because
you made it this way
I'm not the type of person
to just sit back
And let your tears
control me
I am quick to anger
But even quicker to love
I loved you unconditionaly
Yet all you did was take advangtage of me
Feelings fade
And seasons change
where do we choose
to place the blame?
Take a deep breath
Hold on tight
the game you started
ends tonight.

In a good mood today and I decided to jump on here and see the poet society at work.
Yours being the first that jumped out at me...
I like it, its simple, effective, some grammatical errors but thats not a major concern really. It seems to be a sort of epiphany to me...i dont know, perhaps i've misread the poem, or got lost in the words that the message escaped me, maybe you can clear that up for me...
Otherwise, i liked it, i like alot of poetry, and i liked this one...the subtle rhymes that dont rush the poem until the end, kind show emphasis on the forthcoming end of what seems to be similar to my conversation with my parents, my lack of freedom and conformity to their little world, its interesting...its cool *smiles*
hehe...
Take care
